Day 2:
Second day was full on walking through a forest and swimming in a fine white sand and clear water lake.

El segundo día estuvo caminamos por un bosque y nadamos en un lago de fina arena blanca y aguas cristalinas.
We started the day really easily getting breakfast and packing up. Heading of to Pile Valley to see satinay trees. These type of trees have survived years and years because they are fire and termite resistant and only grow in Fraser Island. They can get to be as tall as 40 meters.

Comenzamos muy temprano el día empacando y tomando un buen desayuno. Luego nos dirigimos hacia Pile Valley para ver a los famosos arboles Satinay. Estos arboles han sobrevivido años de años gracias a que son resistentes al fuego y a las termitas. Esta variedad de árbol solo crece en esta isla y pueden llegar a medir hasta 40 metros.

The Wanggoolba Creek is the creek that gives live to this forest.

La quebrada de Wanggoolba es la que le da vida al bosque.
After that we headed to our final stop which was Lake Mckenzie. This like is known for its fine white sand and the car waters. You can see the bottom of the lake and it is almost 150 hectares in area. The depth can get up to 5 meters in the middle of the lake. Here we stayed for a good amount of time so we could swim and take pictures.

Luego nos dirigimos hacia nuestra ultima parada que fue el Lago Mckenzie. Este lago es muy conocido por sus claras aguas y fina arena blanca. Al entrar al lago se puede ver claramente el fondo. Este se extiende por casi 150 hectáreas. El punto más profundo es el centro donde llega a tener hasta 5 metros de profundidad. Nos quedamos aquí por un buen tiempo para poder nadar y tomar fotos.
On the way back of a beautiful 2 day trip. Getting to know the beautiful island and being in touch with nature was so incredible. I sure enjoyed being there and watching how well is nature being preserved. I personally would love seeing all natural areas being so well preserved as this one.

Camino devuelta a Brisbane. Este fue un asombroso viaje de 2 días donde logre conocer una hermosa isla y estar en contacto con la naturaleza (no tiene precio). Lo que más me gusto fue ver como la naturaleza estaba tan bien preservada en su ambiente natural. Me encantaría ver que las areas naturales sean preservadas así en todo el mundo.
Definitivamente fue una gran experiencia.
